Returns, Exchanges and Refund Policy

1. Policy overview

This policy applies to purchases made through the Unlazed website. It governs change-of-mind returns, exchanges, and refunds, and is separate from any remedy that may be available under law for defective, unsafe, or non-conforming goods.

For all voluntary returns, refunds are processed by the legal entity that received the customer funds, namely Unlazed LLC.

2. Change-of-mind return window

A customer may request a change-of-mind return within seven (7) days from the date of delivery, provided the goods are unworn, unused, in original resalable condition, and returned with the original box, tags, inserts, accessories, and proof of purchase.

The cash refund will be based on the cash actually received by Unlazed for the transaction. Unlazed will not process the total amount as we ourselves bare the following cost for every transaction
- Transaction fees
- Platform fees
- Bank charges
- Shipping charges (free shipping)
The remaining amount after all the reductions (if shipping charges are there, then that too will be deducted from the amount, before refund).

3. Items not eligible for voluntary return

Worn, used, soiled, damaged, compressed, altered, or odour-affected footwear;

Items showing signs of fitting beyond ordinary indoor try-on;

Customised, personalised, made-to-order, or final-sale items clearly marked as such before checkout;

Opened hygiene-sensitive accessories or consumables, unless defective;

4. Condition assessment

All returns are subject to inspection. We may reject a return or apply a reduction where the returned condition is materially worse than the condition reasonably expected for approval of a voluntary return.

5. Defective, damaged, or incorrect goods

If the customer receives a defective item, a delivery-damaged item, or the wrong item, the customer should notify us promptly with the order number and photographs. Where a defect, non-conformity, or our fulfilment error is confirmed, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, exchange, refund, or another lawful solution.

6. Return approval and shipment

Returns should not be shipped back without our confirmation and return instructions. Unauthorised returns may be refused or may experience delay in processing.

7. Refund calculation

For approved voluntary returns, any refund will be limited to the amount actually received by Unlazed for the returned goods. Original outbound shipping charges, payment-gateway charges, COD charges, customs charges, return shipping, and other third-party fulfilment costs actually incurred may be excluded from the refund to the extent disclosed and legally permitted.

This limitation does not apply where a full refund is required by law because the goods are defective, unsafe, materially misdescribed, or supplied in error by us.

8. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability and product suitability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer an alternative, store credit, or refund, as appropriate.

9. Processing time

Approved refunds are usually processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days after inspection of the returned goods, subject to banking and payment-provider timelines.

10. No exclusion of mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any remedy that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable consumer or product-safety law.
